About Leo

Little Leo is a 10 month old pit puppy looking for a loving forever home. Because Leo has special needs, he will do best in a home with experience in managing and working with reactive dogs. Leo is full of love and spunk and wants nothing more than to snuggle his people most of the day. With proper introductions, Leo is great with other dogs and new people (no cats please). His favorite activities include napping, sniffing, chewing bully sticks and chasing mini tennis balls around the house. Leo is a very chill pup, but can occasionally become anxious/reactive when over-stimulated. With medication and training, Leo has shown awesome improvement in his current home! His family is SO proud of him. Unfortunately, they are in the heartbreaking position to re-home Leo because of the stress caused by an older (anxiety-ridden) dog in the home - which is overwhelming for Leo. After working with a trainer and a behaviorist, everyone agrees that Leo would do best in a home without a high-anxiety dog. Leo is a very special dog, looking for a very special forever home.
