About Roscoe

Dalmatian / Jack Russell
Age: Puppy
Sex: Male

Roscoe is truly a mystery to us. For all intents and purposes he looks like a Miniature Dalmatian (and there is such a thing) but, not being sure what their personalities are, we can only surmise that there is some Jack Russell Terrier in this adorable boy. Roscoe has a bit of energy in him. But it's all fun and love. He's not a cuddle-bug but a partner if he has his druthers. He wants to check in and make sure you are happy with him working alongside you. He'll want you to hold him for just a bit and then he's off on his next very important business. Roscoe gets along well with all of his foster-dog buddies and is even okay with cats. The older dogs, however, are not all that into his type of play as he is young and a bit of a whippersnapper (pretty sure that's the word they would use if they spoke English). Kids are all right by him as they are so much fun. Roscoe is crate-trained and goes in all by himself. He is okay on leash but is still learning and needs a little reminding now and then. If you would like to meet this sweetie please read on or go directly to the Adoption Process page of our website - throwmeabonedogrescue.org. All potential adopters are expected to complete an application and provide pictures of their yard, patio, and/or balcony making sure we can see the fence line and/or railing. The application can be completed and submitted from our website - throwmeabonedogrescue.org - the link is found of the Adoption Process page. Applications will be reviewed for approval before setting an appointment to come meet and possibly adopt the dog of interest. In addition, those who live in a rental property are expected to provide proof that they are allowed to have a dog where they live. Each of our rescued dogs has been de-wormed if necessary, de-flea'd (with topical treatment if old enough, and by medicated bath if too young), spayed/neutered, microchipped, is up to date on shots, and has been fully examined by a veterinarian. In addition, each adopted dog comes with a starter baggie of the food it has been eating, a few treats for training purposes, a rawhide chew, a lead and collar, and a folder containing pertinent records.
