Joe Cocker Spaniel looks like a backyard pure breed Cocker Spaniel. He does have a tail and a misaligned jaw, but does not slow he down. Current weight about 20 pounds and likes to wear a sweater. He is between 4-5 years old. We pulled him from a shelter a day later he almost lost his life. He had organic poisoning from eating too much old raw fish while out running stray. Joe made it through all the vet care and has been altered and ready to find his home. Currently a little skinny, but gaining weight steadily. Joe does pretty well with other dogs saying he just got neutered a short time ago. Currently most of the dogs in his foster home are males, learning to walk on a harness pretty well now. We did have to shave a lot of mats off of him, but his hair is growing back nicely. $255 is the adoption fee includes, neuter, micro chip, current on vaccinations, and kennel cough and one year rabies. We try our best to match our dogs to the perfect homes, and match them based on their personalities, not their looks. Adoptions are NOT done on a 'first come, first serve' basis, rather in the order of what homes are the right match for that particular dog. Our adoption fees are based on the litter or dog. This includes spay/neuter, vaccines, kennel cough, micro chip, rabies and heart worm test if an adult. If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs, you can visit our website at tailsofrescue.org under dog application.
