About Joy

Joy is an outgoing, sweet 10-year-old Shih Tzu dog who loves to be held. She is also a Velcro dog and will follow you everywhere. She is a quiet dog who rarely, if ever, barks, but she loves to talk :-). She is crate trained and about 90% housetrained as well. She also uses pee pads the other 10% ...she is a quick learner, so we expect she will soon be 100% housetrained. She does have alopecia on about half of her body, but we anticipate that in time there will be abundant hair regrowth with proper nutrition and care - she came to us from the hoarding case in Miami Dade county and was seriously lacking most of her hair due to neglect.
