About Diamond

Diamond is estimated by the vet to be about 7 months old. She is a Golden Retriever. Unfortunately her and her sister were wandering around on their own for a long period of time and ended up having to be live trapped in order to get them out of the cold. Diamond is very much the shy one of the two girls. She is starting to get very curious about people but will take a while to warm up. She is very sweet - no aggression whatsoever - just scared of human interaction still. She has some specific needs in her forever home - so make sure you meet those needs before you fill out an application - we know that everyone loves a Golden but at the same time this little girl does have some special requirements: 1. She will require a fenced in yard for her own protection - must be 5' or over - an electric fence will not work. 2. Preferably a home with another calm dog in the house to help train her and give her confidence. 3. A home that understands she can NEVER be taken out for a walk, run, etc., without a leash. If she ever gets loose again the odds of ever being able to trap her a second time are very slim. 4. She will be fine in a home with kids if they just let her get used to them. 5. A home that understands she is not fully housebroken and there will be accidents as she adjusts in. 6. A home that has a TON of love to give to her. 7. She is not a farm dog. She has now been spayed, is current on all of her shots and has been micro-chipped. Her adoption fee will be $250.00.
