About Odin

Meet Odin. Odin is super sweet, affectionate, and adorably quirky. He is almost 4 years old and has been with us without incident since he was a kitten. He has always had a sensitivity to very loud/high-pitched noises, but has only ever given us harmless 'warning nips' when we make a noise that bothers him (squeaky door hinges, loud ringtone, loud music, etc). We had a baby 4 months ago, and he seemed to do okay with the baby's cries, until recently. Now that the baby is older and his cries are much louder and ear-piercing, it is suddenly triggering aggression in Odin. He has become aggressive towards the baby, and can no longer stay here for the baby's safety. He has also started lashing out and attacking our two dogs whenever the baby cries. He is still very sweet and cuddly when the baby is quiet or sleeping, so it is only the loud crying that triggers this aggression. He needs to go to a calmer, quieter, and child-free home. Due to his very dominant nature, it is probably best he is an only pet for now, although he has (reluctantly) gotten along with other cats and dogs in the past. He currently lives with a non-dominate cat and they get along just fine. The current living situation is pretty dire and he needs a new home ASAP. We love him so very much, and want to avoid surrendering him to a shelter if possible. We will require a meet and greet at our home in Chandler to make sure his new family is a good match. Odin is neutered, micro-chipped, and indoor-only. He got all of his required vaccinations in his first year, but we have not kept them up to date.
