About Abby

Lol. We really think Abby looks like a Saluki. Yes, she's not a pure breed, but then again looks also like she has some miniature Irish Wolfhound! Well???/ Abby is 1-year old on Jan 1st. We believe she could be part Saluki. She is 45#s and will probably gain a few more pounds but she probably won't get much taller. We are working on house training. She is the sweetest ever. Abby is comfortable with being in the house and has never been a 'street' dog like many of the Texas dogs are. She loves people of all ages; other dogs...big or small; cats still amaze her but she doesn't chase or cause problems. This will be a great family dog. We can't say for sure how she is with toddlers/young children. With young children we always say NEVER have them around a dog/pup unless you are right there watching them, supervising completely. The uniqueness of her is her coat. She has short hair all over her body except at the nap of her neck (which is about 3 inches long) and a 5' wide strip down her back that is about 1 1/2 inches long. (if you text and ask for more photos, I can send you pictures of this hair phenomenon.) She does have extra whiskers around her mouth...have no idea where that came from. Because she does have 4 white feet. Could that be a tad of border collie?? She is totally up-to-date on all her vaccinations and is heart worm negative. She will come with a complete medical record of all of this including a 6-mo supply of heart worm prevention to help keep her negative.
