About Clara

Clara is available for foster or foster-to-adopt. We are a foster-based rescue and always looking for foster families. Clara is currently fostered in Bradenton, FL (Manatee County). Miss Clara is a sweet senior lab mix that was forgotten in a shelter for several months. We decided she needed to be in a home for the holidays. She has been treated for heartworms and will get a recheck this next week. She is doing great! Clara is lower energy and in good health She is active and likes to play with other dogs. She would do well with other dogs or solo. Clara is also very independent and can be stubborn, especially when it comes time to come back inside. She is an old soul that does well with a quiet environment and lots of love. She rides well in the car and is good on leash. Loves her couch. She loves to be petted and groomed, and is an easy keeper! If interested in fostering this sweet gal, please contact us for more information. When it comes time for adoption, she will be available through our Seniors for Seniors program. We are a foster-based rescue organization with foster homes throughout the state of Florida. We predominantly save dogs from municipal shelters throughout the Southeastern U.S. Our rescue dogs live in foster homes - there is no central facility.
