About Oregon (Orey)

Adoption Fee: $125
Jack Russell
Age: Senior
Sex: Male

UPDTATED POSTING -Oregon (Orey) is a handsome 10-yr old rough coat Jack who actually comes from Oregon. He has a wonderful little personality and loves being with people and absolutely loves having a yard, something he's never had. We think he would prefer a quieter, less hectic home with a 4-legged buddy to play with as well as a loving human or two to give him the comforts of life he has never had. He is crate trained although I'm sure he would love sleeping along side his human(s) too, house and doggie door trained. Our preference for Orey would be older kids 12+ who have been taught to respect dogs, not that he has shown any aggression toward a child, but simply because at 10 years old he has had little to no experience around youngsters. He has been good with both male and female dogs. No cats please. There are many more photos and videos of Oregon at https://www.facebook.com/OklahomaJackRussellRescue/ Oregon's adoption fee is $125 and includes his neuter, dental, up to date vaccines, dewormer, heartworm test/on preventative and microchip with free lifetime registry. Please apply using our online adoption application at the link below if you think Oregon would be a good addition to your home and please read our adoption application policy also listed below. http://www.dogsweetdog.com/oklahoma-j'|/adoption-application/ Application policy: We are often asked why we do not allow people to come by and pick out a dog they like, THEN fill out the application. Answer: (1) We do not have a single facility. All our Jacks are in private foster homes learning to be pet dogs before being adopted. Much in the same way a realtor will only show homes to buyers with a pre-approved letter from a lender (so as not to needlessly inconvenience their clients), we will only show dogs to folks with a pre-approved application so as not to intrude on our foster homes any more than necessary. It is the best way we know to keep our foster homes happy. Please understand this critical part of the process. We must have an application first and we are doing our best to make the process as simple as possible. (2) What if you fall in love, and then aren't approved? Awkward. (3) Once you are approved, even if we don't have what you are looking for now, you will be at the front of the line when the love of your life does arrive. (4) We welcome out of state adopters who are willing to either pick up the dog in person or to secure suitable transport (we will try to suggest some paid/unpaid options) however ultimately if there is any cost for transport it will be at adopters expense. (5) Completing an application does not obligate you to adopt from us.
