About DAISY IS A DOLL

DAISY and her sister came in to the shelter and they were two peas in a pod. Together they were happy and peppy and bursting with love. Everyone was so happy when they were adopted together. A few months later their adopters decided they only wanted one dog. So they kept Lily and dumped Daisy at the same kill shelter from which she was adopted. Without Lily, Daisy lost her joy, she shut down, became depressed, quiet, lost her appetite... she was a little girl with a broken heart. Lulu's Rescue couldn't leave her this way and they stepped up and rescued her. Not much is known about Daisy's history since they came in as strays. She's a one year old, 40# hound mix. She just went into a terrific foster home where she will get lots of love and hugs and attention and we will have much more to share about her soon, so stay tuned for updates.
