About URGENT - DYLAN

A5204252 Dylan is a 3-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier who came to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on July 27th, and transferred to Agoura Animal Care Center on December 14th. He has been at the shelter FAR too long. Dylan's default setting is to behave like a puppy: high energy, carefree, and quick to play. However, I quickly discovered that he takes correction quite well. If he's a bit too keyed up for the moment, just show him how you want to interact and he immediately settles down. Most amazing of all is his well-mannered behavior when walking outside other dogs' kennels. He's extremely non-reactive even when others behave aggressively through their kennel bars. It's rare to see a dog so relaxed in that particular environment. Dylan's exuberance is so charming! He really loves attention and knows how to get it. But he's also attentive, intelligent, and quick to behave because your approval and affection are his top priority. With his energy and spirit, it's so easy to imagine him as the steadfast faithful companion to some lucky individual who's as athletic and adventurous as he is, but as you can see in the video attachments, he will also be at home on your living room floor, rolling around like a goofball and snuggling against your leg. Dylan deserves a rich life of activity, adventure, and affection. And if you are willing to offer him that, then YOU deserve every bit of the immense devotion that he has in store for you.
