About Elmer Fudd

Hi my name is Elmer Fudd! I am a Chihuahua and approximately 6 years old. I have been waiting for my furever home for quite some time. Someone abandoned me at a pet store. I think I have been overlooked a lot because I can be people selective (but who wouldn't after being dumped). But I sure make up my mind pretty dang fast if I am going to like you or not. I'm a very low maintenance type of guy. I love sleeping under blankets and being snuggled. I am housebroken but don't use the doggie door in my foster home cause it's HUGE. I usually just go get my foster mom when I need to go out. I live with a lot of other dogs right now but I don't have to have any doggie companions as long as I have my person(s) that loves me. I recently had a dental done to remove some tartar. My doctor says I have a grade 3/6 heart murmur and my heart is a little enlarged. I tried to tell my doctor that it's because I have so much love inside that I need to share and that's why it's BIG. My doctor put me on Vetmedin and said I may need this to help me lead a longer and happy life. I don't have any outward physical signs of illness right now so you would never even know there was something wrong. There are many people who love me very much but want me to find my perfect home. I don't chew on things and rarely bark (except when my foster mom is feeding me my yummy meals). I love to travel and jump right in my carrier. I love dog parks and sleeping under the covers. She will want to check out my new home once I find it. My adoption fee is $120.00. I am neutered, up to date on my vaccines, microchipped, licensed and vet checked. My adoption fee also comes with 30 days of free pet insurance and a free vet visit.
