About Gracious Lady

Gracious Lady is a remarkable 2 year old Great Pyrenees that was found chained to a tree after the people moved away. She didn't have any food or water when found, and the neighbors reported that she had never had a doghouse or any kind of shelter during the time she was chained to the tree and living with the family who owned her. Tragic but fortunate for her that now she is with a rescue that cares about the next family that she goes to live with. Gracious Lady was so very thin, her hair was matted and dirty, but despite being mistreated she loves people and loves affection from humans. Lady still has the Great Pyrenees personality, but she is much more affectionate than most Great Pyrs I have fostered. Lady gets along with other dogs, cats, kids, but she can be a little bossy with other dogs around her food which is understandable since she was neglected and starved so badly. She walks on a leash very well, has a happy nature, plays some, but is mostly low energy. It has taken awhile to put some weight on her and she could probably stand to gain a few more pounds. She weighs approximately 85 lbs. We are making sure that the next home is a dream come true for this girl.
