About LILY

But the granddaughter who was caring for her has moved out of state and the grandparents are too elderly to take care of her and don't want a dog in the house. She needs a hero! She currently lays on a bare concrete stoop all night in 10��%BD bitter cold weather with her nose pointed into the corner of the door trying to soak up any heat that escapes. She has a little arthritis, but gets around just fine in the sunny warm daytime. You may think that a St. Bernard doesn't mind the cold. Well, she's a senior - would you want your grandmother lying on concrete all night in the bitter cold? No, you would not. Here's where you come in!!! For her remaining days on Earth (which may be 6 months or 2 years) she needs a person with a warm heart and a warm house who provides her with a comfortable bed, (maybe even a fireplace ;-)), regular feedings and lots and lots of love! She is spayed, vaccinated, tested, dewormed and microchipped. Our process is to contact us via email [email protected] (please do not call). We have an online application, we have a meeting at your home with your family members including current pets. (Yes we bring the pet to you!) a trial adoption and stay in touch - we love updates! We usually adopt locally to the Santa Fe, central ABQ, Rio Rancho and Los Alamos areas of New Mexico.
