About Cody

I am heartbroken as I write this. My beloved Cody has been a part of my family since he was a small pup. He's now 3 yrs old and yet still feels like a pup! He HATES my cats, but that never stopped me from playing 'musical bedrooms' with them and Cody: both cats and dog had plenty of time with me, away from danger (from each other). I just did what I had to do to keep them separate and safe. My husband was just diagnosed with cancer stage 4. He was laid off last June... so he has NO insurance :(Can you imagine!). Bills are piling up fast. I am very overwhelmed, and I need help. I can't walk Cody as I used to; We've been to Presby Dallas hospital several times already, and each time I've had to board him ��%BD��%BD��%BD��%BD. It's getting so expensive every time we must spend days in the hospital... ��%BD��%8F��%BD��%BD%8F��%BD He needs a loving forever family who will provide him with love, safety, and medical attention as needed. Cody is very healthy and caught up on all his shots. He's got the bluest eyes you've ever seen... Although his kennel is in my bedroom, I got him a heating pad for the winter. He truly is loved. He is kenneled-trained and yet lays on my bed keeping me company when I am watching tv or studying (I tether him to my bed 'just in case' ya know?). He is soooo loved and cherished, I could only give him to a family who will commit to giving him everything we've been providing: unconditional love, health care, and a warm bed. Honest, I don't want to let go... ��%BD��%BD��%BD��%BD��%BD��%BD��%BD��%BD. Can you help me find him a loving family? I am heartbroken. I just don't know what to do. I have a daughter still at home who is having a hard time: it hasn't been easy for any one of us, and I ask myself: 'her daddy is gravely ill... I'd never send her away.
