Video: http://ws.petango.com/webservices/adoptablesearch/wsYouTubeVideo.aspx?videoid=GqMnCCOuags Anyone out there need a Bagel??? The four-legged kind, not one you toast and serve with cream cheese! My name is Acorn and I am young 2 year-old Basset-Beagle mix that was found as a stray. I might be on the small side but they say good things come in small packages and I am proof of that! I am crate trained and will sleep in my crate quietly through the night, only barking in the morning when I am excited to see my foster family. I am working on learning this house -training thing and learning good doggie manners. I learned how to use the dog door in one day--I am pretty smart, I guess . My foster mom is teaching me to sit on command and I almost have that down! I am learning not to counter cruise-but it's so much fun! I have a lot of energy and am always on the go exploring the house. When playtime is over, it's time to relax and settle down with the family. I get along great with other dogs including my BROOD foster brother Sammy. We like to lay together in a dog pile and snooze together. He makes a great pillow. I would love a home with children or playful dogs to run and play with, but would also be ok as an only dog as well as long as I have an active family to help drain all this puppy energy. My foster mom says I love everyone I meet so I would not be the dog you want protecting your house. Think of me as a super sweet, snuggly young guy who would fit in your family. True, I might be a little 'nutty' but all it takes is a little love, time and patience for this Acorn to grow in to the perfect family friend! Please contact BROOD today! My adoption fee is $250. **Only BROOD approved adopters can meet a dog. The adoption application is on the BROOD website. We require a home visit and a veterinary reference. The age of many BROOD dogs is unknown, as very few come with official records. The estimate on the dog's age is usually the initial estimate given by the receiving shelter, which may be different from that given at the time of the initial checkup. Different veterinarians may also give different ages, and those different opinions are sometimes reflected on the record. ***BROOD's adoption fees are determined based on age of the dog 11/30/2018
