About Bernadette

Bernadette has a sad story to tell, but without words, she can't tell us all. This sweet girl wandered up to a home looking for help - she had a pretty bad leg injury that healed poorly and it was causing her pain while she struggled to walk. We don't know what happened to Bernadette, but we are sure glad that she wandered up to some very nice people who sought help for her. Bernadette was assessed by our vet and it was determined that her leg had pretty much shattered and there was no way to save it - she's now a tripod kitty but let us tell you this, she's happier without that bad leg. Bernadette is very friendly and affectionate with everyone, but because of the loss of her leg, we don't recommend her in a home with young children who could accidentally drop her if picked up. A home with a cat-friendly dog would be fine. She also loves other cats so no problem there if you're looking to add to your multi-cat home. Bernadette's DOB is estimated to be Feb/2018.
