CODE RED ALERT. Meet CAMINO a 5 year old, 45# treeing walker hound / spaniel mix in urgent need of rescue. The shelter shares the following: 'Health: He is quite skinny, and has various scars in various stages of healing. He has a healed scar on the bottom of his neck from an ingrown collar or cable, scratches & scabs on his face, feet 7 legs mostly, and pressure wounds/sores on his feet & ankles. Temperament: He is a sweet man, seems to be good with other dogs and cats! He met the shelter managers dog, and was good with her! he was curious about the cats in the eval room, he wanted to check them out but was not bad with them! He does pull hard on the leash; and is hard to correct with that. Inside was not his favorite, you can tell he has not spent a lot of time inside at all. he was much calmer inside, just very unsure of what to do. He came in as a stray. Shelter Hold Ends: Monday, December 17 @4:00pm'. This means CAMINO'S time is up AND if he is not rescued, he will be killed the following Tuesday or Wednesday morning. A local Bucks County, PA rescue can save him with your help. They need a commitment from a suitable foster or adopter. They also need donations to help defray rescue costs. (Rescue Costs include: $125 shelter release fee; $200+ neuter/vetting; pre-transport boarding $200+; and $150 for transporting from SC to PA).
