BROOD adopts to applicants living in VA, WV, MD, PA, DE and DC. Bella has a video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ueUFhPlGHOs I'm Bella and a real lovebug. I have a beautiful tri-color coat, with large spots, small spots, and stripes. You will want to give me lots of belly rubs! I was lost and scared before BROOD took me. My foster family loves me and it is making me feel more and more secure. I'm now brave enough to walk all around the block and realize that I can chase squirrels and they won't chase me back. I'm still nervous around loud noises and lots of activity outside. City living is probably not for me. I'm very happy in the house and fenced-in yard and love playing with my foster dog brother, and racing round and round the yard, and sniffing. My strengths include eating, chew bones, taking walks, playing, giving lots of love, and getting petted. I haven't had any accidents in the house. I do like to take your socks and keep them warm in my bed for you. I'll go in a crate while you're gone, but am happier when I'm gated in the kitchen since it has more room. I love to learn and definitely want to continue my education by going to doggy-training school. I've already learned to sit or lay down to be petted or get a biscuit. I'm still working on not jumping up on people and would be best in a home without small children as I could easily push them over. And I also love licking toes (I really don't understand what the problem is with this but oh well). I am looking forward to being adopted into a family that will love me forever. I will give all my love in return. Please contact BROOD today! My adoption fee is $250. **Only BROOD approved adopters can meet a dog. The adoption application is on the BROOD website. We require a home visit and a veterinary reference. The age of many BROOD dogs is unknown, as very few come with official records. The estimate on the dog's age is usually the initial estimate given by the receiving shelter, which may be different from that given at the time of the initial checkup. Different veterinarians may also give different ages, and those different opinions are sometimes reflected on the record. ***BROOD's adoption fees are determined based on age of the dog 12/3/2018
