About Wendy

Wendy was found wandering a country road shortly before Thanksgiving this year. She had an eye infection, mange, fleas, missing teeth, and mammory tumors due to not being spayed. With the help of a veterinarian neighbor, Wendy's fleas are gone, and her eye infection and mange is healing. Her energy is up and she is feeling much better. She is almost done with her round of steroids and is taking antibiotics. As much as I would love to keep Wendy myself, I already have four animals myself and can not afford to get her spayed or have her tumors removed. She is absolutely one of the sweetest dogs I have ever met, and pretty low key. What Wendy wants most is someone who will give her a lot of attention and can spend time with her. She doesn't run around a lot even though she has two acres worth of land to do so. She really just wants to be with people. She is also incredibly loyal. If she thinks you don't like another animal or person she will get protective of you. Otherwise she seems to do pretty well with other animals as long as there aren't too many, then she starts to feel overwhelmed. Wendy loves beds and thinks everything is a bed including plastic bags, she also likes small toys that she can collect in her bed together. Whoever adopts this dog must have the ability to give her proper medical care as she is an older dog with mammory tumors who hasn't been spayed.
