About Layla

Adoption Fee: $100
Dachshund mix
Age: Adult
Sex: Female

Meet Layla Layla is a lovely lwired-haired dachshund new to our shelter. On Nov. 29, 2018, Layla's world came crashing down when she found herself homeless and without the comfort of her owner for the first time in her life. Layla is around eight years old. She was reluctantly owner surrendered when her owner could no longer care for her. Layla was much loved and she's trying so hard to be brave at the shelter. She's on the quiet side, but eagerly seeks comfort from those around her. She's super affectionate, loves being held and welcomes a warm lap. Layla is house-trained and walks well on a leash. To help her adjust to shelter life, we keep Layla in our kitchen where she enjoys the company of two other small dogs and the office cats. She gets a lot of attention in the kitchen, but she would love to find her own forever family that can take her away and make her theirs. Layla is spayed and current on vaccinations. If you're looking for a forever companion, come meet our Layla. Call 706-865-4135 for information on additional health services provided as part of the adoption fee. If interested in one of our puppies or dogs, please submit an application online or at the shelter. Applications can be submitted online at: https://www.charlessmithgallhumanesociety.org/page/dog- adoption-application Once an application is submitted online, you will receive an email saying your application has been successfully submitted.
