About Evan

Evan is fostered in Tampa, FL (Hillsborough County). We are a foster-based rescue and always looking for foster families. Evan is a total lovebug and full of enthusiasm. He is about 4 years and 38 lbs. He is energetic and very people- and attention-motivated as his breed tends to be. He loves to play with toys. He knows some basic commands and his foster is working on more. He's eager to please his person and learns very quickly. Once he masters basic obedience he will be a very good candidate for a sport like agility or flyball. He gets along fine with most other dogs, but as with any of our dogs would need to have a meet-and-greet with a potential fursibling prior to adoption. He attaches very quickly to his person and can be a bit 'guardy' with other dogs, but nothing too serious. He takes correction very well and will do fine with some patience. Evan is athletic and tends to jump on people (we're working on it). As such, he is suited to a breed-savvy home without young children. This sweet and happy boy will make someone an amazing companion! Evan is housebroken, neutered, up-to-date on vaccines and preventives, microchipped and heartworm-free.
