About Star

Meet Star. Star has a colorful past. She has been betrayed by humans on more than one occasion. She has a pretty public story including two Beauties who don't give up on anyone and a lawyer. It all started when Star's human abandoned her in a house. She was there for two weeks with no food or human contact. The mail lady approached the house to deliver mail, and because Star was hungry and hadn't seen a human in two weeks, she jumped through a glass window. She didn't do hurt the mail lady or anything, just scared her. This landed Star in puppy jail and being labeled 'dangerous' by the city of Wichita. Luckily Beauties is lead by two women with a drive to save like you wouldn't believe. They fought hard to bail Star out, and guess what, they won. Since being sprung from the big house Star has had a stroke and is a little droopy on one side. Adoption Fee: $200 - Includes Spay/Neuter, Microchip, and UTD on all vaccines
