About Checotah

Checotah is a gorgeous girl with big, soulful eyes. She spent most of her life outdoors until her owner found themselves unable to care for her properly. She is reported to be a mix of Spitz and German Shepherd but has all the talkativeness of a Husky! Checotah likes to yodel when excited, and boy does she get excited! She does the cutest happy dance and song when being taken out of her run or seeing a person she likes. She has done well with other larger dogs in her past life but does have a high prey drive so cats and smaller dogs are out of the question. Checotah's ideal home is one where her owners understand she will likely be loud, she'll need a good brushing quite often, that she has never lived indoors full-time before so needs work on house training, and that wants to get out and get active because poor girl is a bit overweight. Checotah is 6 years old and weighs 65lbs. She has been spayed, micro-chipped, vaccinated, heart worm tested (negative), and is up to date on parasite prevention.
