About LUNA

It's been an emotional weekend with rescue dogs. Last week we got an urgent call from a Good Samaritan..a family friend of a person struggling with a heroine addiction. He had two dogs in his possession, living in his car, driving around high...these two dogs were often neglected for days and were obviously living a very turbulent, unstable...and frightening lifestyle. It took a lot of effort...but we managed to get these babies into our possession and signed over to our rescue. The woman who stepped in to help get these girls from the owner, and legally into our possession is nothing short of an angel. We have since gotten them spayed and vaccinated and are safe in separate foster homes. We have since split them up since these girls are quite different and not overly bonded. Luna has a much more happy go lucky nature. She'll heal much more quickly and is already trusting of people. Loves other dogs and kids, too! Both girls are about 1.5 years old, 7 lbs.
