About Duke

I have a walker hound that I need help finding a home or a foster for. We got him to save him from going to the shelter. Unfortunately he has growled at our 4 and 5 year old a few times and him staying here isn't going to work. I have been reaching out to several groups. He also is not up to date on his shots and would need fixed. He would do best with hadults only or older kids. He is great with out 15 and 17 year old along with us. He's very loving. Takes treats gentle. He is crate trained and house broke. He gets along with our other dogs. He would need a fenced in yard as the owners said he likes to run. They said he is 8 months old. It is unknown if he is full blooded or not. He has a sprain that we are taking care of and would need to stay calm and quiet for about another week till it's fully healed. I have exhausted all the resources that I know of. If he doesn't find a home I will have to take him to animal control on Friday. Please help this boy find a loving home so I don't have to take him.
