Looking to rehome our Australian Shepard Mix rescue dog. We rescued him from an unfortunate situation(Malnourished and Neglected) and only planned to get him back in good health so we can find him his forever home. He is still underweight but now his spirits are better he has a great appetite. We have had him for about a 1 month now. Since we have taken him, he is up to date on shots/vet visits. (He does great in he truck!) He is on Heart Guard Plus and Nex Guard. I named him Steamer and he is about 10 years old. He is super sweet and loving, however, he and my chickens/cats do not get along. He likes my chickens as snacks. We do not keep him caged or chained up outside. I do not know if he was ever a house dog. He is neutered. Heartworm= NEGATIVE. He tested positive for Lymes. I have already given him Doxycycline RX from the vet for that. He has been treated him for worms. I give him Carpofen 2x a day for joint stiffness. He has never been aggressive towards us. Has never bitten us. I have paperwork from the vet for him. He had a tumor on his eye lid that we had surgically removed by the vet. I have other things to go with him. I am looking for someone who will not chain him up or keep him in a cage like he had been by his previous owner. He has been given a 2nd chance by us and I hope he can fill your heart with love like he has with mine. Please contact me for more pictures or if you are interested.
