About Maxwell

Meet Maxwell!! Don't let his age fool you, he's only middle age for his breed! Maxwell is the sweetest little pup!! Hes an 8 yr old, male, Shih Tzu. He weighs approx 15 pounds. It appears he was fairly neglected most of his life. He's doing much better with a fresh haircut and some love. He is active and happy. He will be neutered and have all of his shots updated prior to adoption. He will also be microchipped. Maxwell appears to be completely potty trained. He does great with other dogs big and small. He also does fine with cats. He did fine riding in the car and is crate trained. His walrus like teeth add to his sweet and goofy personality. Considering his condition when he was picked up it's amazing how good his temperament is. Maxwell was covered in fleas and due to that has scratched a bit of hair off his back. The fleas are gone and along with a better diet in place he should recover quickly from the hair loss. We are still working on getting Maxwell in better shape for adoption.
