About Zoey sad story

Zoey really is the sweetest, gentlest, most affectionate lap cat you'll ever meet. She loves snuggling in your lap, or watching Netflix next to you on the couch, and snoozing on your bed. She'll entertain you playing with toys, chasing feathers or carrying toys in her mouth. She's got the adorable tortie talkativeness. She is so gentle, she will even let you pick up her paws one at a time to trim her nails, a dream come true! Zoey's sad story... Five years ago we rescued Zoey and her mom Doe from a terrible situation where she was living in a car after her owner was evicted. She was adopted, but then years later her 2nd home ALSO lost their home, and she ended up living in a car again! She's been back with our rescue for over a year. It hasn't helped her sensitive stomach bouncing between foster homes and now living in a garage - a very nice garage with cat trees and heated cat beds but still - a garage. Zoe is 10 years old as of October 2018. She is being fostered with her mom Doe who is 2 years older than Zoey. They get along but are also available for adoption separately, since that would mean more of your lap time! Zoey takes prednisolone an inexpensive and a yummy chew she happily eats every other day like a treat. She needs a twice yearly vet recheck with bloodwork (most recently completed 10-2-18), and the pred makes her shed but as she loves her daily brushing that takes care of that easily too.
