About Xelina

Xelina is a 2 year old foster from Lifeline DCAS. She is great on a leash. I'm a tiny person and I have no trouble walking her even if I don't put a harness on her. She has only seen other dogs and cats on walks and she could care less about cats and likes playing with the dogs. She did pass the cat test at the shelter though. She has only been around children on walks and is very nice with them, but she does get a little excited when you get home and can get jumpy so she might not be good for a home with small children. This could be taught out of her with some patience though. She's the gentlest treat taker I've ever seen. She loves her rope toy but she really only plays outside as she seems to know that inside means be calm and outside if for play. She knows sit and shake decently well. I'm trying to teach her lay down. She is house trained. We've had no accidents. I have not put her in a crate so I don't know about crate trained. The only concern would be that that she does sometimes jump when she's excited but I think this could be taught out of She loves to chase after a toy if you throw it, she just doesn't really bring it back. She LOVES to cuddle on the couch. She would have to go to a house that would let her on the furniture cause all she wants to do is cuddle with you. She never barks. I honestly thought maybe she couldn't for a little while until someone knocked on our door and she barked once. I think she could be an amazing ESA for someone. Someone started crying and she immediately came up and rested her head on their leg. She really just wants to love someone unconditionally.�%A0 She is the PERFECT PACKAGE! LOVES TO PLAY AND CUDDLE!
