About Carmine

Lab mix
Age: Young Puppy
Sex: Female

Carmine is a 4 month old Lab mix, who was born in July. Sadly, she was found in cages outside with two of her sisters. Thankfully, she was rescued by BARC and is now with a foster family through Houston Pets Alive! She is mostly all black with some white on her paws. She is up to date on her vaccinations and has had all three rounds of her shots. She is scheduled to be sprayed in December. She is house broken, but is also trained to use potty pads, which is great for people who work long shifts. She does not need to be crated while no one is home - she's perfectly well behaved and non-destructive! She enjoys walking or running on a leash and would make a great outdoor buddy. She has a mild temperament and low energy for a puppy. She gets along very well with dogs and loves to be around them. She is indifferent to cats, and more so ignores them. Right now she is very shy and timid around people. She is non-aggressive and is working hard with her foster family and volunteers to become more accustomed to people. Carmine would do best in a house with other dog friends to help her adjust. She also would be better suited for a household without young children, as she does not like to be overwhelmed with attention. Adoption must be in person at Houston Pets Alive!
