About Olive (west)

OLIVE - A4165708 My name is OLIVE. I am a spayed female, black and white Labrador Retriever and Staffordshire Bull Terrier. The shelter staff think I am about 1 year and 1 month old, and I have been at the shelter since Nov 08, 2018. Olive is so scared that she just sits in the corner of her kennel, and won't come out to socialize with people. Here's comments from a volunteer at the shelter: 'Marcia & I spent time with her yesterday. She barks and runs when you approach her kennel. We went to the back side and I sat in there and tossed treats. She was eventually taking from my hand and I pet her nose. I think she's just scared.' Olive may be added to the euthanasia list on 12-03-18. Black dogs often get overlooked in the shelter because the lighting is so poor, and they just blend in with their surroundings. Intake notes indicate that Olive is just quiet and gentle, and probably just needs someone to love her and give her a chance. Would you?
