About Kiani

A resident in my complex dumped him, so some cat lovers picked him up and brought him to me to foster until I can find him a great new home, or place in a rescue or adoption center. He is about 1 yr old, I think. I'm basing that upon his vigor (!) and that his paws are large, for the rest of his body. Kiani learns very fast and wants to please you. He learned not to bite or scratch in two days, with just my theatrical 'Ow's!'. He has also learned to mostly stop smacking the window shades or scratching something, when I say 'No.'. If you throw a ball for him, he plays with it, himself, until it gets stuck under something he can't get it back out from. He loves dogs, and wants to play with them. Mine are older and don't want to play; but, he doesn't take it personally and keeps trying. He also loves to snuggle and nurse on t-shirts. His coloring is really remarkable - technically a tabby, on top, he's really got more what I would call tortoise shell designs - not what is generally called t. shell in cats, but what t. shell jewelry looks like. Perfectly cat box trained. Loves to sit on the laps of guests. Someone just brought me a kitten to keep, too; and, Kiani is good with it, although he's sometimes accidentally rough, when playing.
