About Fulton

Boxer / German Shepherd
Age: Puppy
Sex: Male

If only dogs could speak words...but until then, I'll try to put into words what I have learned about Fulton, who sparked my attention when the shelter he was staying in did a final plea and shared his video on Facebook. His tail was tucked so tightly between his back legs that my heart broke in that very moment. Meet Fulton, a sweet and extremely timid boy who has been failed by humans in a previous life. But thanks to rescue, he has a 2nd chance and a brand new start to learn that a good human being would never bring him any harm or pain. This handsome Boxer/Shepherd is 1.5 years old and 50 lbs. Fulton appears to be house trained and crate trained. Since arriving in foster care, he has learned that not only is he allowed to come inside, but he actually lives inside. Inside his foster home, he is surrounded by dogs of all sizes and activity levels and is submissive to all. He actually thrives in an environment where other dogs are present and would be best suited in a furever home with at least one canine to show him the way. He's also kitty friendly and wouldn't mind sharing a furever home with them. He lives in an environment with children aged 8-13 and while still timid, seems less-threatened by them than adults. He finds comfort and safety inside his open-door crate. He would be best suited with a furever family who understands that respecting his space in his crate is priority. Of course he doesn't mind furry friends coming in and out of his personal space. If you have the patience, time, and desire in your heart and home to make a difference in a dog's life and help him with his happily ever after journey, then please apply to meet him! Fulton is neutered, current with vaccines, heartworm negative, and fostered in Etters, PA We are PA Caring for K-9's, an all breed dog rescue that is solely run by volunteers. Most of our dogs are rescued from high kill shelters in the South. If the dog is posted, they are still available! Once arriving, these dogs enter foster homes, as we do not have a shelter. We cannot adopt out dogs to a home with dogs that are not fixed or up to date on shots. If interested in adopting please submit an application online at www.pack9rescue.org. Our adoption fee for altered dogs is $300 and goes directly to saving the lives of more dogs. Our adoption fee for unaltered puppies will be $350 which includes a refundable $50 deposit upon receipt of spay/neuter certificate. We are an all volunteer organization and we are always looking for more help.
