About Curly Sue

Curly Sue came to us from Pima County after the owner of the guard dog rental business where she was kept couldn't keep the dogs anymore. Curly Sue was never trained to be a guard dog and her sweet but timid personality never would have worked for that anyway. Curly Sue instead spent over a year of life living in a concrete kennel. As a result, the world has the newness and wonder for her typically reserved for tiny puppies. Curly Sue is a happy, healthy girl who loves other dogs as well as humans once her shyness passes.
