About Sophie

Hello! Sophie is a wonderfully playful and happy puppy. She is almost up to date on all her vaccines (needs last boosters) and is almost potty trained. She has been crate trained, however if she is left over 4 hours she tends to have accidents. She is great with kids and dogs. She does like cats, however she is a herding dog and likes to corner them and terrorize them trying to play. She does need space to run or a active owner. She is very smart and will escape her crate if not locked completely. She is a heavy chewer but if given enough of her own toys will leave other things alone. She responds to sit, leave it, let go and down/off. She must be leashed when outside as she will dart off at any interesting smell or person. Loves praise and pettings. We are sad to have to find a home for Sophie but due to unforeseen medical issues, I am unable to provide the time and attention that she deserves. I would Iove to find a home for her that has space for her to run, play and herd things like she loves to do or find an active owner who is wanting a loving and faithful companion that will be able to take her out for long walks or runs, dog parks, etc.
