1 year old male neutered Australian dog. Very friendly and intelligent. -- My husband and I have fostered Koda-bean for the last 6 months to get him socialized. He was surrendered for euthanasia for social anxiety (mostly scared of men) after being left in a crate inside for the entire first part of his life. - He now loves my husband and is good with male friends/neighbors. Because of Koda-bean's history we think it would still be best he be placed in a house with experience with cattle dogs and without young children. -- Koda-bean is good with both the small and big dogs in our house even when left unattended. He has has been good with our cat and foster kitten so far with supervision Koda-bean is by far the smartest dog we fostered and is fully potty trained. He learnt how to sit, lie down and run through an agility tunnel on command in one afternoon and is very treat motivated. He still needs some work on leash training and riding in the car for long car journeys. -- We think Koda will need to be homed with someone with an active lifestyle and a yard so he can get all of his cattle dog energy out of his system during the day.He can be a bit noisy when he plays. -- Koda is very sweet and likes cuddles, snuggling and hanging out with us in the evening. 00 We love Koda-bean and are happy for anyone who is interested in giving him a potential home to start with him staying on a trial basis. We would be fine to take him back and continue searching for his forever home if they did not feel he was a good fit.
