About Maya (west)

MAYA - A4105499 Maya is a 2 year old, spayed female, white and brown American Pit Bull Terrier mix. She was surrendered by her owner on July 14, 2018. She was surrendered because she kept digging out from under back yard fence. Maya is a real loving little girl, gets along well with everybody. Her previous owner said she did well at the dog park, and with kids 9, 13 and 17. A volunteer reported following: 'This pup has a kennel mate that she appears to do well with. I had her out tonight with no fence fighting leaving or returning to the kennel. Good notes from her previous owner except for digging out. Very affectionate and friendly. Previous owner says she loves to go to the dog park and play with other dogs and is a great dog. Only issue was digging out. Saw this dog and kennel mate today, both very sweet. She is barrier reactive to the dog in the kennel next to her...but probably is just the environment and bored. Her owner surrender notes say she played with other dogs at the dog park, knows tricks, and is house broken.' Maya could probably use some training, but would make a great walking or hiking buddy, and would reward you with years of love and loyalty.
