About Walker

Walker is a big gorgeous male German Shepherd. He is 3 years old, neutered and UTD on his vaccinations. He weighs 80 lbs but is 10-15 lbs underweight, he is a BIG boy. He doesn't realize his size so because of this we don't recommend him being adopted in to a home with small children. He walks fairly well on a leash and is partially housebroken. He is good with other dogs and doesn't seem to care about cats but further testing would be needed. I don't think this boy spent a lot of time indoors and he is very timid. He will require patience and lots of love as he transitions in to being a loving family member and loyal protector. He is very intelligent and with training he will become the perfect companion. Walker is heartworm negative and being fostered in Red Lion, Pa. We are PA Caring for K-9's, an all breed dog rescue that is solely run by volunteers. Most of our dogs are rescued from high kill shelters in the South. If the dog is posted, they are still available! Once arriving, these dogs enter foster homes, as we do not have a shelter. We cannot adopt out dogs to a home with dogs that are not fixed or up to date on shots. If interested in adopting please submit an application online at www.pack9rescue.org. Our adoption fee for altered dogs is $300 and goes directly to saving the lives of more dogs. Our adoption fee for unaltered puppies will be $350 which includes a refundable $50 deposit upon receipt of spay/neuter certificate.
