About Daisy Mae

Daisy Mae is 8 years old & weighs 55 pounds. She's perfectly healthy & HW Neg and she's got the cutest crooked grin from when a bear tried to eat her as a little pup. Daisy Mae is housebroken, crate trained, and does amazingly well in public and on a leash. She's friendly to strangers in public and the best-behaved traveling companion anyone could ever want. At home, she's often a cuddly baby who likes affection. Daisy Mae needs to be an only dog in an all adult house. She'd be happiest in a home where her owner took her places a lot. Daisy LOVES to Go-Go-GO! And she doesn't care if it's for a walk, a jog or her favorite - a ride! She needs a dog savvy owner who can be her pack leader and is able to be with her a lot because of her separation anxiety. Daisy Mae's ideal human will help satisfy her need for activity. We've got a volunteer who will sometimes take Daisy jogging - she'll do over 3 miles with no problems, never crossing in front of her running companion. Miss Mae once lived in a foster home where her mom walked her for 2 miles every morning. Daisy would be a great partner to help someone keep their cardio fitness goals.
