The first thing you notice are her Happy Rabbit ears, which are as expressive as her face. She's a happy, fun-loving girl to begin with, and those ears make her extra-cute! She's definitely not pure pit-the shelter has her listed as a Pit - Weimaraner. The second thing you notice is her shape. Phoebe has a rounded back which the shelter vet lists as spondylosis, a treatable disc disease. (See @jilldyche's Phoebe post to learn more about it-her dog Frosty has spondylosis too!) It doesn't seem to slow Phoebe down at all! But-as you can imagine-this poor girl gets more stares and questions than she does interest. This is one dog who DOESN'T blend in! Phoebe is sweet, friendly, and good with other dogs in play group. Initially shy with new friends, she comes out of her shell quickly. She's a moderate energy girl who is, according to one volunteer, '�'�|a good easy dog.' She has done well on her Hound on the Town excursions, and-though she doesn't seem to have much training-walks well on a loose leash with other dogs in a pack. Phoebe has been in temporary foster to get some food into her belly and give her a break from shelter life. The foster reports that she did great and ignores cats!
