About Andy

''Twas a few weeks before Christmas and Andy found himself in a warm house, sleeping by the fire with not a care in the world. After 11 months on a cold concrete floor, we knew it was time for his Holiday miracle. Andy is a 2 year old Lab mix who weighs 62 lbs and has the sweetest temperament. This golden boy is so grateful to people that once he meets you and knows he can trust you, he is glued to you. Andy is good with dogs, kids, and cats. He is house trained and crate trained and is working on leash skills (he likes to walk between the legs of his human). He is current with vaccines, neutered, heartworm negative, and fostered in New Cumberland, PA We are PA Caring for K-9's, an all breed dog rescue that is solely run by volunteers. Most of our dogs are rescued from high kill shelters in the South. If the dog is posted, they are still available! Once arriving, these dogs enter foster homes, as we do not have a shelter. We cannot adopt out dogs to a home with dogs that are not fixed or up to date on shots. If interested in adopting please submit an application online at www.pack9rescue.org. Our adoption fee for altered dogs is $300 and goes directly to saving the lives of more dogs. Our adoption fee for unaltered puppies will be $350 which includes a refundable $50 deposit upon receipt of spay/neuter certificate.
