About Kayla

We rescued Kayla from death at a Houston shelter where her family dumped her after having just having puppies. Of course, they kept the puppies. Kayla is sweet and calm, especially for being a puppy. She lived with kids and did well with them. She does well with the other dogs at her current foster home. Kayla is a 28-pound Border Collie and Jack Russell Terrier mix (shelter listed her as a Dalmatian mix). The shelter estimated her 9 months old. She is the perfect medium on the smaller size dog. She enjoys going for walk and outings, and playing with dogs. She does well on car rides. She is crate- and house-trained. She enjoys her toys, especially chewing on antlers and other chew toys.
