About Axel

Axel is an approx 4-5 yr old chinese crested with long flowing locks and a sweet personality! Axel, and a few of his housemates, ended up in rescue when their former owner became hospitalized and was no longer able to care for the dogs. Axel has lived with other dogs (and a bird and cat). He has been nothing but friendly with people while in our care. Axel loves to snooze the workday away, although he is excited to go out for a walk when he sees his leash. It appears he may have been pee pad trained in his former home, however any potential adopters would need to understand he will likely have some accidents as he transitions to a new home. As with many chinese cresteds he will also need regular grooming and/or bathing. Axel is a lovely small dog who would be a nice lower key companion for his lucky adopter. Please note a few things about our rescue - we do not ship dogs, nor arrange transport. Any approved applicants would need to be willing to come to our location for a meet. Any resident dogs and all family members would also need to meet Axel to ensure it seems like a good fit from both sides.
