Aberdeen Scottish Terrier Rescue is a registered 501(c)3 Web Site: www.aberdeenstr.com Adoption application at: https://form.jotform.com/193648405513157 ***MUST SUBMIT APPLICATION before we will respond to email or phone inquiries. Thank You for your cooperation*** WE ARE NOT A SHELTER; WE ARE AN ALL-VOLUNTEER RESCUE WITH FULL-TIME JOBS. Please do not contact us to look at a dog. We will contact you once we have reviewed your completed application if we think your home might be a good fit. A reference check, phone interview, and home visit will be completed before meeting an adoptable dog. We work quickly. Please do not submit an application until you are ready to bring a new furry family member home. Expect your references to be contacted shortly after submitting your application. We adopt out to homes around the US and Canada, but require that you are present for the meet and greet in Renton, WA. Our adoption fee is non-negotiable. The adoption fee is due on the day of adoption in the form of a check, Chase Quick Pay, PayPal, or cash. These 2 baby dolls have yet another horrific story. They along with their siblings were born in a high kill shelter in Korea . The puppies were left outside through the freezing winter and they were the only 2 to survive. With the help of our wonderful Korean rescue partner the girls were brought back to Seattle to find their forever home. Dawn & Fawn are sisters & based on appearance they are possibly jack russel l terrier mixes. They have both been spayed, are up to date on their shots, heart worm negative, wormed and micro chipped, Foster mom's observations: 'These two dogs are actually very easy to take care of. They are healthy, curious, gentle, and sweet. They get along with our other dogs (both bigger) just fine; they do show hesitance around younger children the few times we've introduced them. They eat well, enjoy toys and running around the yard, and have had a total of two accidents in the house in three weeks (they do have access to a dog door). They sleep through the night with no problem in a crate together, and are easy to take walks with. The darker sister is much more interested in cuddling and sitting with us, the lighter sister would rather be outside exploring most of the time (a house with a yard is a must for their forever home). When not off exploring, she'll sit on the couch with us, but still likes her own space. They both need more and consistent training; neither one really knows their name, and they don't really come when called yet or know basic commands. They have a few mildly naughty habits like jumping up to greet you, barking at squirrels and dogs in the neighborhood, and grabbing our socks to play with, but no serious behavioral issues at all. And my gosh, are they ever cute - those ears!!! ' As with all of our rescues the girls will need work on potty training & obedience training. This should be something the new family would be willing to work on & commit to. These sweet girls have been through trauma and many transitions in their short lives and they are depending on us to find them the best forever home possible. With that in mind we are looking for a home where someone is home majority of the day. They need a home that is able to be patient with the transition, willing to work with a trainer if necessary, and able to give them unconditional love. Please only submit an application if you are ready to adopt now and willing to go through our process. If you are not responsive to our calls, emails or your references do not respond we will move on & remove your application from our system. You must be willing to go through our screening process which includes your references being checked, a phone interview & a home visit followed by a meet and greet. Once we find the right home for each little soul we work fast, within days so the dogs can go to their forever homes in a timely manner. We do not hold onto dogs for people who are not ready to commit. Please do not submit an application if you are not ready to adopt. Due to the large volume of applications we receive, we are unfortunately not able to respond to everyone. We appreciate your understanding. Dawn & Fawn have an adoption fee of $995 for the pair.
