About Zipper

Not even one year old. Zipper is a case of people falling in love with a cute puppy in the dog pound. Not understanding his breeding, or exercise requirements as an adult. They returned Zipper to the shelter. DO OVER! Now Zipper is going to someone who does understand him! Us! He really needed a little exercise. And I do have to say though, his color wheel is definitely in Autumn! Zipper is very sweet and submissive. He comes when I get down and wave him in, or he's uncertain of intentions. He's that dog that flinches if he doesn't know you and you move quickly. Once he sees you mean no harm to him, he's free, happy, wiggly and loves to be cuddled. Zipper came with a front attaching harness and walked well to my van. But since then, I really haven't used a leash on him. He likes to run when we're off leash, and then he chills in the yard with the pack. Very patient, and probably not too unhappy about the space, freedom, doggie friends, warm dogloos, and unlimited food and water. Things are looking up for this boy. He'll stay here until a real cattle dog owner discovers this gem named Zipper!
