URGENT!!! URGENT!!! JUBAL IS ONE OF SEVERAL HIGHLY ADOPTABLE DOGS LISTED ON THIS SITE WHO WERE RESCUED FROM A HIGH KILL SHELTER BUT ARE NOW AT RISK DUE TO KENNEL STRESS. THROUGH NO FAULT OF THEIR OWN, THESE 'ARKS' PUPS HAVE BEEN IN A BOARDING KENNEL FOR SEVERAL MONTHS AND ARE SHOWING SYMPTOMS OF KENNEL STRESS (NOT EATING, DEPRESSION, LICKING, ETC). THESE DOGS ARE VERY SOCIAL CREATURES AND NEED A HOME WHERE THEY ARE LOVED AND TREATED AS A MEMBER OF THE FAMILY. LIVING IN A BOARDING FACILITY FEELS LIKE SOLITARY CONFINEMENT TO ARKS PUPS. CAN YOU IMAGINE BEING IN A PEN 23 HOURS A DAY? SOCIAL DOGS WHO SUFFER FROM KENNEL STRESS CAN QUICKLY DEVOLVE LEAVING THEIR RESCUE WITH NO OPTION BUT TO EUTHANIZE THE PUP. More than anything else, he wants to share his joy and exuberance for life with a forever family. He loves most everyone he meets and shows it. He greets you with a big smile, a wiggly butt and a happy tail. If you have a pup in need of a fur-friend, JUBAL loves other dogs. His idea of heaven is a large fenced in yard where he and his buddy romp and play the morning away. He would pair beautifully with a jogger or hiker as he loves a good adventure. He's young and needs some training but he's smart, a quick study, treat motivated, eager to please so he'll learn what you want to teach him and have fun doing it. He does have an off switch and after some exercise or play time, will chillax and chew on a bone or sit on the deck and take in the sights and sounds of the season. He does chase cats so would do best in a home without cats. He loves kids but because of his playfulness would do best with older respectful kids.
