About Sadie

She is the biggest love bug ever! Absolutely wonderful with people! She lets me take food/treats/toys right out of her mouth. No aggression at all. She would snuggle, hug, and kiss you all day if she could. She sleeps snuggled up with me every night. Sadie would be a great family dog with older children.The only reason I would not recommend younger children is because she jumps occasionally and could knock over a small child. Sadie is house trained, uses a doggie door, and does well left alone. We keep her in a spare bedroom secured with a dog gate when we leave. She rarely barks. We are still working on her leash manners, but she has made vast improvements. She walks well on a leash, but is dog/cat reactive. She knows 'sit,' 'wait,' 'shake,' 'down,' and we are working on 'focus' (sits and makes immediate eye contact with me). I would recommend Sadie be the only animal in the home due to the recent fight with our other female Lucy unless you are an experienced dog handler and have a male dog. Sadie and our older male dog Jude have gotten along together perfectly. She is on a special diet due to a sensitive tummy and takes cosequin daily. Her tummy and joint issues have completely resolved. She is 55-60 pounds, and 3-4 years old. I would be willing to transport her to another state to ensure she has a good home,
