Amy is fostered in Englewood, FL (Sarasota County). We are a foster-based rescue and always looking for foster families. Amy is a sweet red heeler mix of 2 years and 27 lbs. She is a velcro girl who wants to be by your side at all times and loves cuddling in bed. She is lower in energy than an average ACD and just needs leashed exercise, though a fence would be a plus. She is not an off-leash dog as she can be skittish. Amy loves to play with other dogs in her foster home and gets along great with them, however she does require a home with kind dogs as she does not like to be cornered by larger dogs. She will chase and bark at cats, so they are a no-go. Amy will make someone a wonderful companion. We suspect she would be fine with older/considerate children. Amy is housebroken, crate trained, spayed, up-to-date on vaccines and preventives, and will be microchipped prior to adoption.
