About Blu (east)

BLU - A4099718 This is BLU. He is a neutered male, blue and white Labrador Retriever mix. The shelter staff thinks he is about 5 years old, and has been at the shelter since Jun 25, 2018. Blue is a lab mix, and was was nervous at first in doggy intro, then calmed down. Hw would probably do best with a calm dog. A volunteer gave this report: ' I had the pleasure of spending my afternoon hiking up South Mountain with Blu. MCACC thinks he is about five, but this handsome devil has never ending energy! He would make an excellent hiking or running buddy for someone. We did almost 4 miles and he was a champ! He comes with skills to boot; not only the basics, but he can shake, fetch, and high five, too! He's ALSO great in the car, loves people & snuggles, and did well hiking today with another dog. What are you waiting for? Could Blu be your boy? This guy is active, well behaved, knows 'shake' and 'high five', and can catch treats in mid air. He loves balls, and squeaky toys. He's a great cuddler and active hiking buddy as well!' Blu has been at the shelter a long time, and as with most dogs he will begin to deteriorate in captivity. It would be a shame to put down such a beautiful and courageous animal like Blu. He would make a wonderful loving and loyal companion for many years to come.
